Defence Company boss looking for charity fundraising backers

A Defence company boss who is swapping spreadsheets for a fundraising trek through Nepal in aid of the childrens’ charity NSPCC, is encouraging people to sponsor his Trek to help make a difference to the lives of vulnerable Children.

In March, Andrew Howell, the Managing Director of the Cardiff-based survival equipment company, BCB International, will embark on a Trek in Nepal at over 20,000 feet in aid of the NSPCC’s ‘Building Better Futures Campaign’ which aims to put an end to the abuse suffered and witnessed by thousands of children each year.  Andrew Howell is hoping to raise £20,000 from his trek and is encouraging people to help him reach the target.

Andrew Howell who climbed Kilimanjaro in 2009 to raise funds for the NSPCC said: “As a father of three children, I know how precious children are.  That’s why I want to do my bit to help put an end to cruelty, even if that means trekking through Nepal.

“I would encourage anyone who wants to make a difference and help children have a better future, to sponsor my trek.  Every pound they donate will help stop suffering to children.”

Anyone who wants to sponsor Andrew Howell’s trek can visit his just giving link at www.justgiving.com/Andrew-Howell or send cheques payable to Andrew Howell c/o BCB International Ltd, Clydesmuir Road, Cardiff CF24 2QS.
