Eurotech Announces DynaCOR 30-10, a New Fanless Core i7 Rack Mount Computer for Rugged Applications

With a high performance Intel Core i7 CPU and a rugged, fanless design, the DynaCOR 30-10 is suitable for a wide range of industrial and transportation applications.

Eurotech, a leading supplier of embedded technologies, products and systems, today announces the DynaCOR 30-10, a fanless 1U rack mount computer based on the Intel Core i7 CPU which is designed and tested to operate in harsh environments, including track side and on-vehicle.

Sporting a high performance Intel Core i7 CPU, the DynaCOR 30-10 offers server-class performance in a rugged, compact 1U form factor that is only 352mm deep and compiles with the 19-inch rack standard.

The DynaCOR 30-10 delivers great computational capability in all those applications where reliability is a critical requirement while specifically designed heat exchangers eliminate the need for fans. “Fans are a critical failure point in rugged systems” said Pierfrancesco Zuccato, Corporate Product Marketing Manager, Eurotech. “A fanless system is intrinsically more reliable, since no contaminants, such as dust, are pumped into the enclosure and endogenous vibration is virtually absent”.

The DynaCOR 30-10 is a general purpose computer that offers many features, including:

• Up to three video ports (HDMI/VGA)
• 2x Gb Ethernet
• 2x PCI Express slots (1 x4 or 2 x2)

The DynaCOR 30-10 supports major operating systems, including Windows 7, Windows Embedded Standard, and Linux.
