Hesco Armor, Inc. newest achievement further emphasizes exceptional quality
Hesco Armor, Inc. achieves ISO 9001:2008 and BA 9000:2012 certification standards for the design and manufacture of hard ballistic resistant body armor.
Hesco Armor continues to emphasize their outstanding reputation for quality standards and performance with achievement of ISO and BA certificates. Implementation of Hesco Armor’s current Quality Management System began in 2015 and the certification was accomplished in one year. Over the next two years Hesco Armor will transition its Quality Management System to adhere to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015, the newest version of the standard.

Hesco Group ISO Certification
Hesco Armor, Aberdeen, USA achieved ISO 9001:2008/BA 9000:2012 certification for the “Design and manufacture of hard body armor” in April 2016.
Hesco Bastion, Inc., Charleston, USA was awarded the ISO 9001:2008 certification for “Manufacturer of innovative defense barrier solutions” in January 2014.
Hesco Bastion Limited, Leeds, UK achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification for “Design, development and manufacture of protective structures” in November 2013.
About ISO 9001:2008 and BA 9000:2012
The ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management Systems Standard was developed and published by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), and emphasizes various quality management principles including customer focus and continual improvement.
The BA 9000:2012 Body Armor Quality Management System Requirements was created by the National Institute of Justice (NIJ) to be used in conjunction with ISO 9001:2008 with respect to processes body armor manufacturers use to construct and assemble ballistic resistant body armor that supply members of the federal, state, and local law enforcement and corrections community.
