MP visits Cardiff company

During a visit of Cardiff-based company, BCB International Ltd, former Deputy Home Secretary and Secretary of State for Wales, Alun Michael MP, praised BCB for making products that help our soldiers operate and survive in some of the world’s most dangerous places.  He was shown around the site in Clydesmuir Road, Cardiff, by BCB’s Managing Director, Andrew Howell.
 
For over 50 years, the family run BCB have designed and manufactured a wide range of quality survival equipment for the Armed Forces.  Many of its products like its survival packs and camouflage creams are issued to and used by troops worldwide.  Their excellence has been recognised through two Queen’s Awards for export achievement as well as the acclaimed Wales Quality Centre’s Wales Innovation Award 2010.
 
Following his visit, Alun Michael said: “BCB International is a valued local employer.  It was great to meet the BCB team and to see for myself the vast range of innovative products they provide to our Armed Forces.  Everyone associated with BCB International is to be applauded for their hard work in supporting our brave servicemen and women.”
