NEDINSCO signs contract with ESCRIBANO to deliver the BACK-UP SIGHT for the VCR 8x8 Dragon

Nedinsco B.V. (NEDINSCO), announces that it has signed a contract with Escribano Mechanical & Engineering S.L. (EM&E) for the supply of its unique, non-powered BACK-UP SIGHT for integration into the EM&E GUARDIAN 30 turret. EM&E is part of TESS DEFENCE S.A., the Spanish consortium building the Spanish Army's VCR8x8 DRAGON wheeled combat vehicle.

The contract includes the delivery of 219 units of the unique NEDINSCO Back-Up Sight for integration into the EM&E GUARDIAN 30 turret. NEDINSCO will supply its field-proven, non-powered, rugged optical fiber-based BACK-UP SIGHT in a Single Field Of View version.

NEDINSCO is committed to continuing to work closely with EM&E to ensure successful integration of the BACK-UP SIGHT into the EM&E GUARDIAN 30 turret. “We are proud to be part of this prestigious and innovative Spanish MoD VCR 8x8 DRAGON program. The first series of vehicles of the VCR 8x8 DRAGON, intended to modernize the capabilities of the Spanish Army, is scheduled to be made available in the second half of 2022.
