PEI-GENESIS NAMES PETER AUSTIN VICE PRESIDENT OF PRODUCT MANAGEMENT, MARKETING & TRAINING

PEI-Genesis, the world’s fastest assembler of precision connectors, has named Peter Austin Vice President of Product Management, Marketing & Training, effective immediately. He will report directly to Steven Fisher, PEI-Genesis Chairman and CEO.

In his new role, Austin will have day-to-day oversight of the company’s robust product management organization, in addition to global marketing and training.

“Peter comes to PEI-Genesis with over 20 years of electronics industry experience,” said Fisher. “As we look to the future, we need senior leaders with solid track records, as well as, new and innovative thinking and Peter brings both to PEI.”

Most recently, Austin worked for almost six years as Vice President of Global Sales & Marketing at NXP Semiconductors and prior to that, served as Director of Global Business Management at National Semiconductor where he oversaw the company’s product portfolio, leveraging and maximizing product line revenues through price and margin optimization strategies.  Austin also spent 13 years with Future Electronics in various roles including Director and Worldwide Business Manager, Corporate Product Marketing.
