We have a strong emphasis in the design and innovation of LED technology – a phrase which is now synonymous with Truck-Lite and displaying our ability to adapt to an ever-changing and evolving marketplace.

With a strong heritage and 11 manufacturing locations spread over nearly 100,000m² worldwide, we are able to support our customers regardless of their location. Owned by Penske, the largest logistics company in the USA, our plants span the globe: from New York, and Pennsylvania as well as Mexico in North America, to China in Asia, and Germany, Poland and Belarus in Europe. Our UK bases are in Harlow, Essex and Birmingham.

Truck-Lite Europe Ltd has developed its products in accordance with the ever growing demands of both the customers we serve and the technologies we have helped develop. We are evolving the way in which ‘Vision Systems’ are being viewed, and working with our OEM customers.

We manufacture lighting from the front to the back of the vehicle: headlamps, auxiliary lamps, floodlights, side markers and rear lamps, which are able to be mounted on various applications – from tanks and armoured vehicles, to recovery vehicles, four-wheeled drives and SUVs.

SUPPORTING OUR CUSTOMER WITH OUR TEAM

Truck-Lite globally provides vision solutions to various military organisations within the UN, involved in ISAF engagement. Military lighting systems are mounted to vehicles in both conflict and post-conflict arenas.

We take a 360° approach to our customer relations, keeping the company structure flat; removing the red tape, improving communication and bringing decision makers close to the ground. Our Managing Director Aaron Ryalnce insists on this. He said: “It’s vital to maintain a steady and transparent information flow - from those at the root of our company, right up through to the president. Our employees deal with customers and operations every day and we need to stay connected and remain nimble to meet the demands of those customers.” Truck-Lite’s global reach is part of our foundation, “…we don’t silo ourselves in terms of region,” Aaron continued, “We don’t have those barriers”.

QUALITY AS STANDARD

Our portfolio of off-road customers has led to products being developed to perform in some of the harshest conditions without dropping performance. Each of our products is put through one of the highest testing-specs in the industry, with up to 15 gruelling examinations: measuring everything from water-resistance and flammability, to dust and particle resistance; as well as being the only unit in the UK equipped to measure photometrics up to 30 metres, with our lab’s state-of-the-art optics and reflex bench. Each test ensures the security of our end-users and maintains the reputation of our customer base.
